Pastoral Council The Pastoral Council consists of nine members, the Pastor and a representative from the Finance Council. Members serve a three-year term and are nominated by parishioners and appointed and approved by the pastor. The Pastoral Council is to be the voice of the parishioners. Our mission is to envision and plan for the spiritual growth of the parish. Co-facilitators are Janet Bishop 419-774-9112 and Jill Wood 419-756-8078. Finance Council The finance council is an advisory body to the pastor regarding the finances and maintenance of the buildings and grounds of the parish. The council meets monthly to review financial statements, requests for funding, and sub committee activities. The sub committee activities are: weekly cash deposits, building maintenance, monitoring parish investments, and budget development. Monthly meetings are attended by finance council members, Fr. Nelson and the parish bookkeeper. Contact Frank Duvall at 419-884-9620 or Fr. Nelson at 419-884-0060. Liturgy Committee The Liturgy Committee educates all as to the nature of liturgy in order to invite full, active participation in worship celebrations. The liturgy committee arranges training for lectors, altar servers, and extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion. We decorate the church for seasons and feasts, promote hospitality at worship celebrations, plan special services, arrange for the needs of the sacristy and study the art and architecture of our church in the light of official church documents. All are invited to join. For more information contact Rod Baird at 419-884-3325 or Fr. Nelson.
