The Stephen Ministry equips laypersons to provide distinctively Christian one-to-one care to those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances, both in our congregation and in our community.  These needs include, but are not limited to…the hospitalized, the elderly, the terminally ill and their families, the homebound, the separated or divorced, those grieving a death or a serious loss, those with disabilities and their families.  Stephen Ministry is a confidential ministry; those receiving care can be sure that their identity and what goes on in the caring relationship will remain private.  If you are interested in talking to a Stephen Minister, contact: Nancy Lessick at 419-884-2676 or Marilyn Hunter at 419-756-2769.

Funeral Luncheon Committee

            The Funeral Luncheon Committee consists of teams of parishioners that are called upon when a family wishes to have a luncheon provided after a funeral.  The church provides the hall, dishes, and beverages.  The family of the deceased provides the meat and rolls.  The team provides the side dishes and sees to the luncheon set up and clean up.  For more information contact Peggy Sanchez, 419-884-2079 or Lorraine Schiff at 419-756-5416.
